So here we are. 2023 is very nearly done. Another year. Another trip around the sun. I've still got a few weddings to finish editing and one left to shoot, but I'm feeling pretty good. How's everyone else doing? You guys hanging in there?

From a photography point of view, it's been another brilliant year for me. I honestly can't say it loud enough, but after 7 years I still feel like I have the greatest job in the world.

I honestly have no idea how many images I've included here, but what I do know is that 2023 had it all. There were so many incredible locations, great weather (for the most part), beautiful light, the friendliest families, rich colours, some of the most hilarious speeches I've ever heard, banging dancefloors - and most importantly - the best couples ever.

The responsibility of documenting a wedding is never lost on me, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to every bride and groom that I worked with this year for placing their trust in me.

Like similar posts from previous years, the photos featured below are just a basic insight into where my work is at right now - a snapshot if you'll pardon the terrible pun. Along with cinema and music, photobooks continue to be a huge source of inspiration for me, and I think that a little of what I've been reading has made it into my work this year.
